  3. cute for the first 3 minutes a bit annoying and repetative thereafter. Where's thepic from? this man is wasting himself though as a primary melamed his bosso sotto voice is more suited for the opera house or, at least, a duet with Y.M. Helfgot

    1. I agree that he has a great voice, but "wasting himself"? Would you say that about a doctor or a lawyer who has a great voice? He is doing one of our most exalted occupations (and no, I am not a melamed).

  4. How sweet and beautiful that sounded. And today we there are those who are anti teaching in Yiddish to our kinderlach. A shandeh.

    1. Of course it's sweet and beautiful; the reason it's sweet and beautiful is that the kinderlach understand it. Nobody (that I know) is against teaching in Yiddish to kinderlach who speak Yiddish; the argument is against teaching in a language they do not understand, i.e. being makriv limud v'havonas hatorah on the mizbai'ach of "Heilege Yiddish". The real shandah is "Yiddish Uber Alles".

    2. The kinderlach will learn to understand it the more they practice it, even if they don't speak Yiddish at home.

  5. Would u go to a doctor who only speaks a language which you are totally unfamiliar with? I guess your answer is yes based on your logic you will learn it slowly.
